I ate lunch with a friend of mine who underwent a plastic surgery a month ago. By this surgery she got double-edged eyelids and little heightened nose. She seemed to be satisfied with the result. Well-done job made her look natural despite the swollen eyes still remained vaguely. I don¡¯t disagree with the plastic surgery as long as it assures medical safety and satisfaction for the patient, not addiction to it. It is because given the true self-esteem cannot be acquired by the fixes of appearances, plastic surgery just can be assumed as a sort of makeup, permanent kind. If we think it as a little gift to the selves, I think it¡¯s not that harmful. The only question is this. Do we have to resent other people¡¯ being disguised?
