I’ve got an email from Northwestern university that arrange a phone interview. I’m so excited because this university is my top choice. Fortunately, they said interview will be done next week, therefore I have some time to prepare the interview. I’ll check my ‘statement of purpose and resume’ thoroughly to expect possible questions. In addition, I should read the curriculum vitae or papers of some professors I mentioned in SOP to indicate that I’m familiar with their works. There are five addressees including me in a recipient email list. As email addresses of them except me reveal the names which look like non-English ones, I guess it will be a competition among international students. I’ll do well.
