Today's class reminds me of stereotype as a subject. I don't buy stereotypes. First, it's dangerous to apply the general fixed ideas to specific individual person or thing. It can easily lead to misunderstood perception or incorrect information about them. Second, stereotype is harmful in that it assumes person or thing has particular type of attribute overlooking they have multiple ones and complex contexts. Nevertheless, the reason to use the stereotype unconsciously is that it can provide us with a quick judgement without trying to know the truth. That means the best way not to use stereotype is to have a genuine curiosity about the world. It takes for us mental or physical (sometimes) energy to maintain careful attention to the world but it is worth doing.

What an impresive ideas to wrote here. I totally agree with the saying people does these things without consulting the reasons behind. I like the way you state your stand.
