¡°I¡¯m not sure that I have enough talent to continue this career!¡± When she talked about her concern about her having a talent in her Ph.D. program, I asked her. ¡°What is more important when you make a choice? talent or will? And how the talent can be measured?¡± I believe my will rather than my talent. There are two reasons. First, I can feel my will is the main drive to produce physical or mental force to make it done. But talent? I don¡¯t know. Second, I think talent is measured through how much we can put our effort, not through how something can be done without one. Therefore, it is silly to be nervous on whether I have a talent or not. Bottom line is to have a will or not. Moreover, who can decide that you have a talent or not? It¡¯s only you to decide that.

I'm not sure that I have enough talent to continue this career, When she talked about her concern about her having a talent regarding her Ph.D. program, I asked her these questions. “What is more important when you make a choice? Is it talent or is it will? And how can the talent be measured?” I believe in my will rather than in my talent. There are two reasons for that. First, I think that my will is my main drive to produce physical or mental force to make things done. But talent? I don't know. Second, I think talent is measured by how much we can effort we put on things, not by how something can be done without one. Therefore, it is silly to be nervous on thinking whether I have a talent or not. The bottom line is whether I have a will or not. Moreover, who can decide whether you have a talent or not? It's only you who can decide that.
