I¡¯ve found that I listen to English better when I read much. Does it mean there¡¯s interaction between reading and listening? Anyway, I came to know this because I¡¯ve read many English texts recently for my thesis. Because of this, I came to understand the contents of BBC Radio 4 better. I¡¯ve been listening to it for a year. My understanding of it was lingered to 70% of contents. Now, I almost figure out the contents up to 90%. Plus, I used to feel like the speaker talks too fast. But these days, I feel they sound normal, even slow sometimes. I¡¯m very pleased with my development. Therefore, I started to visit the website MITWorld(mitworld.mit.edu) to hear the lectures on many issues. I love to challenge to my limits because I know I'll overcome them someday as long as I keep it up.

I've found that I listen to English better when I read much. Does it mean there's an interaction between reading and listening? Anyway, I came to know this because I've read many English texts recently for my thesis. Because of this, I came to understand better the contents of the BBC Radio 4. I've been listening to it for a year now. My understanding of the radio program only lingered up to 70% of its contents. But now, I can almost figure out the contents up to 90%. In addition to that, I used to feel like the speaker talks too fast. But these days, I feel they sound normal, sometimes it's even too slow for me. I'm very pleased with my development as a learner. Therefore, I started to visit the website of the MIT World (mitworld.mit.edu) to hear the lectures about so many issues. I love to challenge my limits because I know I'll overcome them someday as long as I continue to practice.
You're actually doing great with your research Rene. Keep it up!
